Celebrating the life of a Queen: Pastor Regina T Lamb

Pastor Regina T. Lamb was born on January 31st, 1949 in Miami, Florida, daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Jackson. She was reared in the Liberty Square Housing (Pork-n-Beans Project) of Liberty City. She received Christ into her life at a very early age and served the Lord with all her heart.
    In 1961, she met Pastor Cecil Lamb who was her high school sweetheart, and on May 21st, 1966 they were joined in marriage, a union that was blessed with much love and devotion.
   This union was blessed with the births of three children: Corvin, Camelon, and Cainon, who blessed her with five adoring grandsons.
   She attended elementary, junior high and high school within the Miami Dade Public School System. In 1968, she attended Charron-Williams Commercial College. In 1990, she received a B.S. Degree in Business Management from Florida Memorial College. She has worked in several offices and schools throughout Dade County as an Office Manager, Secretary, Transcriber and Substitute Teacher
 
Pastor Regina was ordained in the Gospel Ministry on September 15th, 1995. She always stood by her husband in ministry as Co-Pastor and Director of the Spirit of Christ Center & Ministries, Inc. She established and hosted Women With A Vision, Inc., which holds annual women conferences that enhance the lives of women of all ages. She established and was overseer of the Golden Girls Ministry, the Ministry of Encouragement and the Daughters of Destiny Ministry. Chosen and elected by God, she has literally touched and made a difference in the lives of those who knew her. She was a mentor, a dynamic leader, and integral woman full of grace and character. Her vision to raise up “righteous seed” was displayed daily in her perseverance in the success of the Spirit of Christ Child Development Center and Academy as Director and Principal.
 
 The Spirit of Christ Child Development Center (Day Care) was grandfathered in after the purchase of the Spirit of Christ Center and Ministries at 18801 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, Florida in 1994.The age groups served are newborns through four year olds, under the leadership of Pastors Cecil & Regina T. Lamb.
   In 1997 a vision was given to Pastor Regina T. Lamb, Founder of the Spirit of Christ Academy (SOCCAD). Her mandate was to “ Help Raise Righteous Seed”, it was then that Pastor Regina T. Lamb became the director and founder of the Spirit of Christ Child Development Center and Academy. Pastor Regina started the Academy with just three children and one teacher, her daughter, Camelon Lamb-Pope. The school has now grown from three to over 80 students. In July of 2004 Pastor Regina went home to be with the Lord, the vision has remained a reality and continues to foster excellence in education.
